U.S. Postal Service to host online job fair on Wednesday

The U.S. Postal Service, looking to fill long-term, temporary and seasonal holiday positions, is hosting a nationwide online job fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday.

Job openings include those in the Sacramento Postal District, which stretches from Fresno to the Oregon border.

To participate, job seekers should go to usps.com/jobfair, create an account and log in at the starting time. Participants will have an opportunity to chat live, one-on-one, with USPS recruiters.

Available positions in many locations include automotive technicians, mail processing clerks, mail handler assistants, carriers, custodians, truck drivers and facilities managers.

Applicants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license. A pre-employment drug screening is required. More details are at usps.com/jobs.
