San Mateo-based SolarCity will host a hiring event at its Roseville offices on Wednesday.
The 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. event at 1000 Enterprise Way is part of a national effort to add 500 employees to its sales force in 11 states. SolarCity said it’s looking to fill about 30 positions in Roseville.
Currently, SolarCity employs more than 14,000 nationwide and says that it has been adding 500 new employees a month, on average, throughout this year.
The company said demand for solar power has been particularly strong in California, the Northeast and the Mid-Atlantic states.
