The greater Sacramento area’s high-end home market continued to flourish in this year’s third quarter, according to two reports released Thursday.
There were 143 luxury home sales in the greater Sacramento region in the quarter, a 41 percent increase over the previous year, according to Lyon Real Estate.
Lyon’s report on the region’s upscale homes – those priced at $900,000 or more in Placer, Sacramento, El Dorado and Yolo counties –was based on data from the Sacramento-based real estate tracking firm Trendgraphix Inc.
Meanwhile, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage said luxury home sales in the Sacramento area climbed more than 17 percent year-over-year, based on its measurement standards.
