The state Franchise Tax Board will host its annual “Taxpayers’ Bill of Rights” hearing on Thursday in Sacramento.
It takes place during the board’s regular meeting at FTB headquarters, 9646 Butterfield Way. FTB is posting a scheduled time of 10:30 a.m.
The hearing, which is required by law, seeks proposals from the public and/or tax professionals on how to change existing state income tax laws and how to improve FTB’s publications or services.
Those who want to make a presentation Thursday are asked to submit a written statement prior to the hearing, including the specific tax code sections they are addressing.
