Black Bear Diner opening Monday in Elk Grove
Black Bear Diner, the Redding-based restaurant chain specializing in traditional comfort food and sizable portions, will open a new eatery in Elk Grove on Monday.
The restaurant is at 8531 Bond Road, just east of Highway 99.
Hours will be 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Black Bear operates 74 restaurants in eight Western states, including eateries in Natomas, Auburn, Roseville, Woodland and Davis. The chain started with a single restaurant in Mount Shasta in 1995.
