The pace of falling gasoline prices in the Sacramento area and statewide may have slowed in recent weeks, but at-the-pump costs continue to edge downward.
In AAA’s monthly statewide gas price survey, released Tuesday, the average price of unleaded regular in Sacramento was $2.64 a gallon. That was down 4 cents from the Oct. 13 survey.
Statewide, the average was $2.84 a gallon, down 7 cents from last month. The average price throughout Northern California came in at $2.74 a gallon, a 6-cent decline from October.
A recent rally in crude oil markets has slowed price declines nationwide, but to date, there have been ample supplies of gasoline.
