Sacramento Stride Center to offer IT computer classes in January
Sacramento Stride Center is offering IT training to low-income job seekers starting in January. The center, affiliated with Highlands Community Charter School for adults at 1333 Grand Ave., will host an A+ Certification course starting Jan. 20.
Students in the 22-week course learn to prepare for the A+ CompTIA certification exam, a pathway to information technology careers including desktop support, computer repair, call center staffing and other positions. Students must have a high school diploma or its equivalent and be prepared for rigorous study.
