Hacker Lab, the Sacramento nonprofit that helps nurture technology startups, plans to open a second site in early 2015, in cooperation with Sierra College in Rocklin.
Hacker Lab opened in midtown Sacramento in 2012, moving into 10,500 square feet of space at 1715 I St.
The Rocklin site, to be called Hacker Lab Sierra College, will be on Granite Drive, near the Sierra College campus.
Gina Lujan, co-founder of Hacker Lab, said the new site “is for students and the general public to spark innovation and economic development.”
