Denny’s restaurants serving all meals, all day on Christmas

Denny’s says it will again serve breakfast, lunch and dinner around-the-clock on Christmas this year.

The Spartanburg, S.C.-based chain said it served meals to more than 1.3 million customers and sold more than 370,000 cups of coffee on Dec. 25 last year, making Christmas the eatery’s busiest day for a fourth consecutive year.

Company spokesman John Dillon said in a statement that the custom is meant to give customers “a taste of tradition without the hassle and expense of preparing their own holiday feast.” Denny’s said its most popular menu item on Christmas Day is the “Build Your Own Grand Slam” breakfast.
