Group of gas station, convenience store owners forming Sacramento chapter

A recently formed nonprofit that aims to represent the interests of independent gas station and convenience store owners throughout California will host an event Thursday to launch a Sacramento chapter.

Officials of the Milpitas-based American Petroleum and Convenience Store Association said they welcome regional business owners to attend the 5 p.m. dinner gathering at Flamingo Palace banquet hall, 5715 Watt Ave., in North Highlands.

The APCA says it has about 500 members and chapters in San Jose, Fresno and Sonoma.
