Sacramento-area hotels saw annual improvements in November
Occupancy at Sacramento-area motels and hotels slowed a bit in November compared with summer and fall months, but the region continued to set a solid pace through 11 months of 2015, according to the latest numbers released by CBRE Hotels, formerly PKF Consulting USA, in San Francisco.
The average occupancy rate at area lodgings in November was 67.5 percent, up from 66.5 percent in November 2014. The average daily room rate in November was $112.50, up 10 percent from $102.09 the prior year; revenue per available room was $75.97, up nearly 12 percent from $67.89 in the year-ago period.
Through 11 months of 2015, the average occupancy rate among area motels and hotels was 75.7 percent, up from 73.1 percent in the same period of 2014.
