New name for Roseville chamber

The Roseville Chamber of Commerce, which has been serving Roseville and Granite Bay for nearly two decades, is now known as the Roseville Area Chamber of Commerce.

The chamber formally announced the new name Wednesday. Officials said the change more accurately reflects the reach of chamber activities and services.

The Roseville chamber merged with the Granite Bay Chamber of Commerce in 1999. The Roseville Area Chamber says it has more than 1,400 members, making it the second-largest chamber of commerce in the Sacramento region.
