Japanese discount chain opening store in Roseville

Daiso Japan, an international discount store chain stocking thousands of household items, will open formally open its first Sacramento-area store Saturday at the Westfield Galleria at Roseville shopping mall.

The Daiso store is on the mall’s second floor near the H&M retail store. With the 10 a.m. opening, Daiso will have 12 stores in the Bay Area and 47 throughout California.

Daiso merchandise includes kitchenware, beauty supplies, gift items and everyday sundries. Most individual items are priced at $1.50.
