The Sacramento-based California Energy Commission on Friday will host a public workshop geared to help businesses overseen by women, minorities, disabled veterans, lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.
The inaugural “EmPower California Workshop” will be from 9 a.m. to noon in the Arthur Rosenfeld Hearing Room on the first floor of the commission’s building at 1516 Ninth St.
Organizers said participants can get information on CEC funding opportunities, including clean energy grant and loan programs. Officials said attendees can weigh in on development of a new Diversity Task Force.
