Sacramento builders group names new CEO
The Sacramento Regional Builders Exchange, a trade association that represents area building contractors in six counties, named a new chief executive Tuesday.
Timothy Murphy will take over as CEO effective Feb. 9. He has been director of corporate responsibility at GenCorp and Aerojet Rocketdyne. Murphy also has served on the Sacramento County and Elk Grove planning commissions, among other positions.
Murphy will replace Peter Tateishi, who in November was named president and CEO of the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce.
