Arm of Rocklin’s Purple Communications opens Texas call center

ClearCaptions, an arm of Rocklin-based Purple Communications, has opened a new relay service call center in partnership with Stellar Relay in Irving, Texas.

Purple Communications provides text/video relay and on-site interpreting services for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. In 2011, it launched ClearCaptions, which displays live, near-real-time captions of telephone calls on Web browsers or through a dedicated application on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch devices.
