Small-business tax seminar set Tuesday in Elk Grove

Business owners and entrepreneurs are invited to a free small-business tax seminar Tuesday in Elk Grove.

The seminar is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Laguna Town Hall, 3020 Renwick Ave. Check-in starts at 8:30 a.m.

The event sponsors include California State Board of Equalization member George Runner, the city of Elk Grove and the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce.

Seminar topics include forming a business plan, avoiding sales/use tax problems and social media marketing.
