Small business tax seminar set for Wednesday in Davis

Business owners and entrepreneurs are invited to a free small-business tax seminar Wednesday in Davis.

The seminar will run from 9 a.m. to 2:10 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Theatre, 203 E. 14th St. Check-in starts at 8:30 a.m.

The event co-sponsors include California Board of Equalization Chairwoman Fiona Ma, BOE member George Runner and the city of Davis.

Seminar topics include sales/use tax instruction, record-keeping and forms of business ownership.
