Australia olive marketer makes U.S. hub in Woodland

An Australian olive grower and marketer is establishing its U.S. headquarters in Woodland.

Boundary Bend Ltd. will build a headquarters, olive oil mill and other facilities on an 8.8-acre industrial site in Woodland. Boundary Bend purchased the land last July.

“We believe we can replicate the success of the vertically integrated Australian business model in the U.S.,” said Adam Englehardt, president of the U.S. operation, in a press release.

The company said it chose Woodland, which is just off Interstate 5, because of its agricultural location and its proximity to transportation routes.
