Sacramento law firm Nielsen Merksamer names three new partners
Nielsen Merksamer, a Sacramento law firm specializing in government and political law and related litigation, has promoted three attorneys as partners: John Moffatt, Kurt Oneto and Elli Abdoli.
Moffatt specializes in government law and previously served in the administration of Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger as chief deputy legislative secretary and deputy legislative secretary. Oneto also is experienced in government law, previously serving as a legislative analyst with the California District Attorneys Association and as a legislative aide in the state Senate.
Abdoli’s focus is in political law, advising Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, trade associations and other organizations on federal, state and local campaign finance and ethics laws.
