With his wedding to singer Katy Perry in the pipeline, “Lord of the Rings” actor Orlando Bloom is selling his Beverly Hills house for $8.99 million.
He had planned on living at the estate before he proposed to Perry on Valentine’s Day. The house—a 4,011-square-foot, four-bedroom, four-bath contemporary—has gone through extensive renovation, according to toptenrealestatedeals.com. The renovation added a zero-edge swimming pool and Ipe wood decking around it. The kitchen was also reconfigured so that it opens into the dining room, the Los Angeles Times reported.
A sunken living room sofa pit is a cool feature of the house that was built in the 1960s.

The listing agent is Jason Oppenheim, of the Oppenheim Group, who also sold Bloom the house two years ago. Oppenheim and his real estate team are becoming stars themselves. They are the subject of the new hit Netflix original series, “Selling Sunset,” according to toptenrealestatedeals.com.
Bloom, 42, also starred in “Pirates of the Caribbean.” He is set to appear in a war drama “The Outpost,” the Los Angeles Times reported.
Perry, 32, released her fifth studio album, “Witness,” this year.
No date or location has been announced for their wedding.
