Price for ‘Full House’ Victorian in San Francisco cut to $5.5 million: Take a look

A Victorian house in San Francisco made popular by the 1980s sitcom “Full House” is back on the market at a reduced price.

The new listing cuts the price of the home by a half-million dollars, from $6 million to $5.5 million.

”Full House” aired on ABC from 1987 to 1995 and boosted the careers of John Stamos and twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. The setting was San Francisco, and the exterior of the house at 1709 Brocerick Street became famous as the fictional Tanner residence.

“Full House” revolved around Danny Tanner, a sportscaster father turned morning talk-show host whose wife has died. He gets help from his brother-in-law and best friend in raising his three daughters. In 2016, the premiere season of “Fuller House” hit Netflix.

The 3,728-square-foot, four-bedroom, four-bath home in the Lower Pacific Heights neighborhood was originally built by architect Charles Hinkel Lewis in 1883, according to TopTenRealEstateDeals.com. The residence has undergone a complete renovation.

“Full House” producer Jeff Franklin bought the house in 2016 for $4 million.

The realtor.com listing calls the purchase of the house a “rare opportunity to own a 1883 Charles Hinkel Lewis home that has been impeccably renovated to please even the most discerning tastes, with a touch of iconic flair.”

The new price hit the market a week ago.

A steady stream of fans stop and take photos of the home, even though its interior has never appeared on the sitcom.

The listing agent is Rachel Swann of The Agency, San Francisco.

Editor’s note: A previous version of this article incorrectly stated the premise of the show. It’s been corrected.
