See L.A. home that Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt once shared. It just sold for $32.5 million
The Beverly Hills home where actors Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston lived during their marriage has a new owner after the Wallace Neff–designed house recently sold in an off-market deal for $32.5 million.
The 11,173-square-foot mansion at 1026 Ridgedale Drive, originally built in 1934 for Oscar-winning actor Fredric March, hit the market last year listed at $56 million, according to media reports. The price was lowered and eventually taken off the market after listing at $44.5 million.
Pitt and Aniston bought the Tudor-style estate shortly after their marriage in 2000 for $13.5 million. The Hollywood couple sold the property for $28 million a year after their headline-making divorce in 2005, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The home sits on over an acre parcel of land on a quiet cul-de-sac with gated entrances on two streets and offers five bedrooms and thirteen baths between the main house and a one-bedroom guest house. The dining room can seat 20 guests. The bar room has an original fireplace. There’s also an eat-in gourmet kitchen and gym. The lower-level living room room opens to the swimming pool and lush, manicured grounds.
“Much of what exists inside and outside the house today was thanks to Jen and Brad,” writes TopTenRealEstateDeals.com “Soon after they bought the home in 2001, the super couple began a three-year renovation replacing the kitchen floor with heated marble, designing and installing a pub with floors sourced from a 200-year-old French château and adding a private screening room.”
Pitt and Aniston also built a tennis court and pavilion with a guest house on the upper level.
Susan Smith of Hilton & Hyland was the listing agent and representing the buyer were Justin Huchel and Drew Fenton who are also with Hilton & Hyland.
