See modern farmhouse ‘Real Housewife’ Teddi Mellencamp bought for $6.5 million

Teddi Mellencamp, of “Real Housewives of Beverley Hills” fame, and her husband have closed on a $6.5 million modern farmhouse in Encinco.

Emphasis on “modern.”

The brand new modern farmhouse that Mellencamp, daughter of rock legend John Mellencamp, and Edwin Arroyave purchased is an 8,550-square-foot residence situated on a quiet, tree-lined street. The seven-bedroom, seven-bath compound offers complete privacy among mature ficus trees and amazing interior design detail.

Visitors arrive through private gates and up an expansive motor court and into an entry hall with soaring 24-foot ceilings. Inside is a light-filled open floor plan with light, dark and natural wood accents.

“Premier finishes include wide plank oak wood floors, custom wood cabinetry, satin brass finishes and book match stone fireplaces,” according to the official listing. “Living and entertaining spaces include an elegantly sophisticated bar with countertop seating, formal and casual dining rooms, and a temperature-controlled, LED-lit glass wine room with storage for 200 bottles.”

There’s a chef’s kitchen with dual islands, and a second butler’s prep kitchen.

Fleetwood pocket doors seamlessly connect the interior with the lush backyard that presents terraces, a sundeck, a heated 50-by-17-foot pool and spa, a putting green and basketball court. Poolside, there’s a massage room and a cabana with a fireplace lounge and waterfall that cascades from the roof to the pool.

Among the seven ensuite bedrooms is a master suite with a vaulted, wood-beamed ceiling, fireplace, sitting room, custom dressing room, soaking tub, expansive glass shower and a wrap-around terrace.

The home also boasts a state-of-the-art theater, office, game room, security system and three-car garage.

Mellencamp, 39, is the founder of the controversial “All In” diet program. Arroyave, 43, is CEO of a security services provider.
