$139 million California mansion has a vodka tasting room, nightclub, rock-climbing wall
With a 6,000-square-foot nightclub, a vodka tasting room, a rock-climbing wall and 100-square-foot shower in the primary suite, a spectacular California mansion known as La Fin has just hit the market for $139 million, according to The Agency real estate firm.
Spanning over three stories, the 12-bedroom, 16-bathroom Bel Air mansion is owned by Los Angeles real-estate investor and physician Joseph Englanoff. A limited liability company managed by Englanoff purchased the site of the house for $5 million in 2014, according to media reports and public records. Englanoff was a lender on another spectacular L.A. mansion, The One, a $295 million listing that goes to auction Feb. 28.
“La Fin is the peak of indulgent decadence made for those who aim to live in the clouds looking over the city, wrapped in luxury of the highest caliber,” according to the official property listing.
A separate detached guest penthouse, caretaker residences, security command center and a drive-on motor court are located on the property. Materials sourced from Europe, Italy and around the world are on display throughout the home.
“The property boasts sensational views and stunning light quality throughout,” according to the listing. “The scale and volume of the spaces are nothing short of awe-inspiring. Immediately upon crossing the threshold you enter a grand, entertaining room with 23-foot ceilings and filled with fully customized furniture hand-crafted in Milan and found throughout this decadent property.”
The primary suite includes cladding constructed of floor-to-ceiling Italian hand-crafted oak, a marble fireplace imported from Portugal and a wrap-around deck with uninterrupted views of Los Angeles. The primary bath is adorned in Calacatta gold marble. A 100-square-foot shower and floating marble vanity are all centered around a luxurious soaking tub cut from a single marble stone.
There’s a fully mechanized, 23-foot LED screen outside by the swimming pool, multiple bars, a sub-zero vodka tasting room, private wine room, a home theater with imported Belgian leather motorized seating, a rotating, six-car auto elevator, a separately ventilated cigar room with a incredible humidor, full-scale fitness center with a rock-climbing wall and a 6,000-square-foot night club.
A 44-foot crystal chandelier hangs over a spiral staircase leading to all three of levels.
Jon Grauman and Adam Rosenfeld of The Agency are the listing agents.
