New interactive map shows how home values have changed in every Sacramento-area ZIP code

Home values in some of the Sacramento region’s more established suburbs continue to skyrocket. But some “exurbs” – those communities a bit outside the traditional suburban ring – are also seeing big jumps.

ZIP codes in Yuba and Sutter counties had some of the biggest increases in home values in the region between January 2021 and January of this year, according to new data from Zillow.

The Plumas Lake and Olivehurst area of Yuba County saw a 27.5% increase in home values over the past year. Foothill communities along Interstate 80 and in El Dorado County also saw big jumps.

On the other hand, ZIP codes in Sacramento’s downtown and midtown all saw price increases of less than 10%.

The most expensive ZIP code in the region was 95746 in Granite Bay, where the median home value is just above $1.1 million.
