New interactive map shows the average home value in every Sacramento-area ZIP code
It will cost you at least $900,000 to buy the average-priced home in 10 Sacramento-area ZIP codes.
Granite Bay leads the way as the most expensive ZIP code in the region, according to updated home value data from Zillow. The wealthy Placer County suburb has an average home value just more than $1.1 million.
Rural ranch areas of Sacramento County, foothill communities around Newcastle, El Dorado Hills and Davis also have ZIP codes with some of the most expensive home values in the region.
The median home price of a home sold in the Sacramento region stood at $559,888 in January, according to data from Sacramento real estate analyst Ryan Lundquist.
