A brand new, three-level Bel Air, California, home with not only a wine cellar, but champagne and tequila bars, too, has hit the market for $25 million.
Set behind double gates, the nine-bedroom, 13-bathroom contemporary estate is 14,543 square feet of dramatic design — from the bold entryway, across its open floor plan and vaulted ceilings, to a basement that is “the ultimate entertainment universe” featuring a theater equipped with a high-end sound system, lounge, billiards area, tequila bar, spa and fitness center, according to the listing.
Jacques Wizman, who was an executive with both Gucci Timepieces and later Corum watches, as well as an investor/owner at Coffee Bean Tea & Leaf chain, designed the home.
Wizman started designing and building homes in Los Angeles in 2014, according to Compass real estate firm. He began the equisite Los Angeles home at 120 North Glenroy Avenue in 2017.
Wizman told the Wall Street Journal that he purchased the lot for $3.225 million and spent $20 million more on the project, which was recently completed.
“This one, I just wanted to outdo myself,” Wizman told WSJ. “I wanted to do something that no one can find any flaw with, no matter what.”
He may have succeeded. The home is sleek, tasteful and modern. The oversized chef’s kitchen has built-in cabinetry, professional-grade Miele appliances, an attached wine cellar and a champagne bar. The primary suite features a cozy sitting room, fireplace and large terrace overlooking the half-acre lot.
Outside, the backyard comes with a pool, multiple fireplaces, numerous seating areas and an outdoor kitchen with two pizza ovens.
