Tour L.A. home featured in ‘Ford v Ferrari’ that’s for sale at $1.25M

Musician Jason Wool is selling his redesigned 1909 craftsman home, which was featured in the 2019 Oscar-winning film Ford v Ferrari, in Los Angeles for $1.25 million, according to a representative for Compass real estate firm.

The three-bedroom, two-bathroom residence in the Highland Park neighborhood was the home of Christian Bale’s character in the movie. Bale played the role of race car driver Ken Miles. Highland Park landmarks can be seen throughout the movie.

The house, which has 1,574 square feet of living space, offers views of Garvanza Park, a sprawling backyard and a garage that can be converted into an office, gym, studio or guest home, according to Compass.

“Mature roses and jasmine line the front yard around a celebrated front porch, and out back there is plenty of space for entertaining plus a one car garage with ADU potential,” according to the official property listing. “Front and back yards have recently been updated with artificial lawns to help out with upcoming water restrictions.”

Ryan Sypek and Tristan Fong at Compass hold the listing.

The home last sold in 2016, three years before the movie hit the theaters, for $590,000, according to realtor.com.
