Map shows 2022 home value changes for every Sacramento-area ZIP code from Tahoe to Davis

After a historic start to 2022, real estate price increases in the Sacramento region have started to level off.

The Sacramento regional market is experiencing a summer cool down, with more listings having price reductions and inventory on the rise. The median sale price for the four-county region actually dipped a bit between June and July.

The interactive map below shows the home value change for nearly every ZIP code in the Sacramento region since the start of 2022. The data, courtesy of Zillow, shows the change in value for all the regional real estate hot spots, including the Lake Tahoe Basin, Elk Grove, Placer County, Davis, Folsom and Roseville.

Values have either decreased or remained flat this year in five regional ZIP codes. The most expensive real estate remains along the shores of Lake Tahoe.

The data is updated monthly and reflects the change in home values between January and June.
