The median price per square foot for a home in Truckee increased in the past week to $753, which is the highest in the county. That’s $370 more than the Nevada County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in Truckee was $606.

After Truckee, the most expensive community in Nevada County is Placer County foothills, where the median price per square foot in the last week was $351.

The best deal can be found in Grass Valley/Nevada City, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $315.

In the last week, a 830-square-foot home on Northstar Drive in Truckee sold for $625,000.
