The most expensive community in Placer County is Tahoe North Shore, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $642.

The best deal can be found in Loomis, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $202.

In the last week, a 1,893-square-foot home on Harvest Road in Rocklin sold for $658,000.
