The median price per square foot for a home in Placer County foothills decreased in the last week to $299, which is the lowest in the county. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in Placer County foothills was $330.
The most expensive community in Nevada County is Truckee, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $573.
Outside of Placer County foothills, the best deal can be found in Grass Valley/Nevada City, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $343.
In the past week, a 1,834-square-foot home on Stanley Drive in Auburn sold for $550,000.
