After Truckee, the most expensive community in Nevada County is Placer County foothills, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $329.

The best deal can be found in Grass Valley/Nevada City, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $326.

In the last week, a 2,011-square-foot home on Tyrol Road in Truckee sold for $1,150,000.
