The median price per square foot for a home in Downtown and Midtown in the past two weeks was $520, which is the highest in the county. That’s $199 more than the Sacramento County median.

After Downtown and Midtown, the most expensive community in Sacramento County is East Sacramento, where the median price per square foot in the last two weeks was $509.

The best deal can be found in Galt, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $273.

In the last two weeks, a 845-square-foot home on N Street in Downtown and Midtown sold for $440,000.
