The median price per square foot for a home in Downtown and Midtown increased in the last week to $539, which is the highest in the county. That’s $209 more than the Sacramento County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in Downtown and Midtown was $459.

After Downtown and Midtown, the most expensive community in Sacramento County is East Sacramento, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $470.

The best deal can be found in El Dorado Hills, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $284.

In the past week, a 1,232-square-foot home on T Street in Downtown and Midtown sold for $665,000.
