The median price per square foot for a home in Truckee increased in the past week to $656, which is the highest in the county. That’s $263 more than the Nevada County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in Truckee was $607.
After Truckee, the most expensive community in Nevada County is Placer County foothills, where the median price per square foot in the last week was $375.
The best deal can be found in Grass Valley/Nevada City, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $221.
In the past week, a 1,332-square-foot home on Gold Bend in Truckee sold for $875,000.
