The median price per square foot for a home in Placer County foothills decreased in the last week to $308, which is the lowest in the county. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in Placer County foothills was $375.

The most expensive community in Nevada County is Truckee, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $452.

Outside of Placer County foothills, the best deal can be found in Grass Valley/Nevada City, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $315.

In the last week, a 1,701-square-foot home on Hillcrest Boulevard in Colfax sold for $525,000.
