The median price per square foot for a home in Truckee decreased in the past week to $452, which is the highest in the county. That’s $123 more than the Nevada County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in Truckee was $707.

After Truckee, the most expensive community in Nevada County is Grass Valley/Nevada City, where the median price per square foot in the last week was $315.

The best deal can be found in Placer County foothills, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $308.

In the past week, a 2,796-square-foot home on Sitzmark Way in Truckee sold for $1,265,000.
