Kona Coffee Purveyors owner selling exquisite new Hawaii home for $14.8M. See it here
The owners of Kona Coffee Purveyors are selling their private Oahu compound with outstanding views of the Pacific Ocean and Mokulleia Islands for $14.8 million, according to Hawai’i Life real estate firm.
The four-bedroom home that spans 4,450 square feet is built into an oceanfront hillside. The iconic islands that can be seen from the residence are known as the Mokes, which serve as bird sanctuaries.
Raymond and Jaqueline Suiter founded the boutique coffee roasting company in 2008. They completed the stunning new home this year and intended to use it as a family residence, but decided to put the estate on the market because it’s too far from their business in Waikiki, according to listing agent Erik Hinshaw of Hawai’i Life.
The father of Raymond Suiter built homes throughout Hawaii, according to the real estate firm. Whoever buys the private and unique estate will own a home surrounded by the island’s natural beauty in the beach town of Lanikai.
Oahu housing inventory is “extremely scarce,” and there is no other property like the Suiters’ compound at 380 Lama Place in Kailua, Hawaii, a Hawai’i Life representative said in an email.
“Select producers from around the globe contributed their talent, unique design aesthetic, products, expertise, and passion to realize one the most upscale and unique properties found in the entire state of Hawai‘i,” according to Hawai’i Life marketing material.
The home features a pool with a jacuzzi, covered private rooftop bar, climate controlled wine cellar, commercial elevator and Tesla Powerwall.
“When César Giraldo Design, a well-known Los Angeles-based interior designer, was tapped for his first Hawaii project, a new ground-up residential estate located on Oahu, his philosophy was simple — create a bespoke architectural gem that evokes form and function, emotion and exclusivity,” according to Hawai’i Life. “An incomparable view with the rich, vibrant colors of the land and ocean deserves only the absolute best in luxury products with a soft, natural color palette.”
The home sits on a third of an acre with a 1,100 square foot lanai and five bathrooms.
