The median price per square foot for a home in Truckee decreased in the past week to $577, which is the highest in the county. That’s $237 more than the Nevada County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in Truckee was $586.
After Truckee, the most expensive community in Nevada County is Grass Valley/Nevada City, where the median price per square foot in the last week was $314.
The best deal can be found in Placer County foothills, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $303.
In the past week, a 1,646-square-foot home on Moraine Road in Truckee sold for $950,000.
