The median price per square foot for a home in Downtown and Midtown increased in the last week to $584, which is the highest in the county. That’s $260 more than the Sacramento County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in Downtown and Midtown was $458.

After Downtown and Midtown, the most expensive community in Sacramento County is El Dorado Hills, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $372.

The best deal can be found in East Sacramento, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $180.

In the last week, a 1,412-square-foot home on Creamery Lane in Downtown and Midtown sold for $825,000.
