The median price per square foot for a home in South Sacramento increased in the last week to $287. That’s $19 less than the Sacramento County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in South Sacramento was $250.

The most expensive community in Sacramento County is Downtown and Midtown, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $566.

The best deal can be found in Carmichael, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $253.

In the last week, a 1,462-square-foot home on Sparrowood Way in South Sacramento sold for $420,000.
