The median price per square foot for a home in Carmichael decreased in the last week to $253, which is the lowest in the county. That’s $53 less than the Sacramento County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in Carmichael was $306.

The most expensive community in Sacramento County is Downtown and Midtown, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $566.

Outside of Carmichael, the best deal can be found in Oak Park/Tahoe Park/Elmhurst, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $267.

In the past week, a 2,090-square-foot home on Rustic Oak Way in Carmichael sold for $530,000.
