Glide through this video game exec’s modern, soothing California home listed at $4.3M

From the verdant atrium garden entrance to the generous 868-square-foot rooftop deck, a Los Angeles home owned by an Activision Blizzard executive is available to buy for $4.3 million, or lease for $23,000 a month, according to The Agency real estate firm.

The four-bedroom, four-bathroom residence at 730 N. Stanley Ave. spans 3,813 square feet. The entry of the home is highlighted by a minimalist fountain set on quarried seafoam beach pebble and surrounded by king palm trees and Japanese boxwoods.

Presenting a classic California indoor/outdoor living style, the home’s marvelous rooftop, finished in a solid teak decking, comes with a complete kitchen, bar and living room. There’s an open-front gas fireplace, custom teak coffee tables with Italian silver travertine accents.

The meticulous gardens and luxurious outdoor areas are the work of Los Angeles-based designer Sirak Studio. The owners spent more than $250,000 to build it, a representative of The Agency said in an email.

“Soft lighting gives the gardens an inviting glow,” according to the property listing. “The foliage and seating is designed for privacy while still framing incredible views of the Hollywood Hills.”

A large salt infinity-edge lap pool with slate tile and trex decking, and a jetted spa creates an oasis in the backyard.

Inside, are open living spaces filled with fine craftsmanship and natural light, such as white oak hardwood floors, a skylight shining down on a 20-year-old ficus bonsai and oversized glass windows.

The seller, an executive at California-based video game company Activision Blizzard, bought the home in October 2016 for nearly $3.4 million, according to public records.

Past a sleek, large wine chiller, the chef’s kitchen unfolds with Miele appliances, marble countertops, an espresso machine, two ovens and a designer pantry.

Four sleek fireplaces are dotted throughout the home in both public and nd private rooms. There’s a wine cellar, additional den or media room, and laundry room.

There are four ensuite bedrooms, one being an expansive primary suite that features a spa-like custom bathroom and opens onto a private patio with its own fireplace.
