South Sacramento-area home sales: Real estate prices in South Sacramento the week of July 16

The median price per square foot for a home in South Sacramento increased in the past week to $285, which is the lowest in the county. That’s $43 less than the Sacramento County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in South Sacramento was $268.

The most expensive community in Sacramento County is Downtown and Midtown, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $672.

Outside of South Sacramento, the best deal can be found in Galt, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $295.

In the past week, a 2,350-square-foot home on Hurst Court in South Sacramento sold for $670,000.
