The median price per square foot for a home in Downtown and Midtown decreased in the past week to $492, which is the highest in the county. That’s $173 more than the Sacramento County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in Downtown and Midtown was $514.

After Downtown and Midtown, the most expensive community in Sacramento County is East Sacramento, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $437.

The best deal can be found in Sloughhouse/Rancho Murieta/Wilton, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $237.

In the past week, a 1,126-square-foot home on 10th Street in Downtown and Midtown sold for $555,000.
