South Sacramento-area home sales: Real estate prices in South Sacramento the week of Aug. 6

The median price per square foot for a home in South Sacramento increased in the past week to $311. That’s $8 less than the Sacramento County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in South Sacramento was $256.

The most expensive community in Sacramento County is Downtown and Midtown, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $492.

The best deal can be found in Sloughhouse/Rancho Murieta/Wilton, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $237.

In the past week, a 2,060-square-foot home on Pacific Dunes Court in South Sacramento sold for $642,500.
