Placerville-area home sales: Real estate prices in Placerville the week of Aug. 6

The median price per square foot for a home in Placerville increased in the past week to $300, which is the lowest in the county. That’s $47 less than the El Dorado County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in Placerville was $288.

The most expensive community in El Dorado County is Tahoe West Shore, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $599.

Outside of Placerville, the best deal can be found in El Dorado County foothills, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $303.

In the past week, a 1,398-square-foot home on Old Depot Road in Placerville sold for $420,000.
