South Sacramento-area home sales: Real estate prices in South Sacramento the week of Aug. 13

The median price per square foot for a home in South Sacramento decreased in the past week to $283. That’s $46 less than the Sacramento County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in South Sacramento was $311.

The most expensive community in Sacramento County is East Sacramento, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $546.

The best deal can be found in The Delta, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $268.

In the past week, a 636-square-foot home on 66th Avenue in South Sacramento sold for $180,000.
